Do not try this at home…
When he mixed gallium and aluminum a very strange reaction actually happened.. He got himself an iPhone and some gallium which is a very neat in that it melts at room temperature.
NOTE: DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT THE SUPERVISION OF A PROFESSIONAL
The element gallium has some unusual applications, and in the last decade or so has made its way into a number of microprocessors due to its properties. And it looks like the guy from the Terminator 2 movie in action 😉
Is this even a good idea?
Let’s see what happens when he pours it on the iPhone in the video on page 2

It ruined an rebranded and overpriced Samsung Galaxy?
I have gallium and I see no reason to post “don’t try this at home” as of 2015 there are no reportable issues with using gallium 31.
It’s like, smoking , its like on a grill……but I’ll just go ahead and touch it with my bare hands , no harm could possibly come to me
Ga is like HG. When in contact with Al, it causes the Al to lose that Al oxide coating. The Al basically “rusts” at a very fast rate. Don’t store Ga or Hg in an Al container. The container won’t last very long.
Cool but I wouldn’t be playing with my bare hands in that stuff.
He must really have some money to be ruining a expensive
Phone
What a fucking retard! Why? Couldn’t you just demonstrate that on an aluminum can or something? It doesn’t matter whether it was an iphone or not, why waste and ruin something that worked just fine? I swear people piss me off more and more each day!
