get out of the way of THIS…

What they filmed was absolutely crazy and it cost the most money in history.  Tornados and hurricanes are often confused.  A hurricane comes from the ocean and involves a lot of water.  Tornados develop on land and can be equally or more devastating.  And on this date there was an epic one:

May 22nd, 2011. A powerful tornado cut a mile-wide swath through Joplin, Missouri. It was the costliest tornado disaster in history, with insured losses close to two billion dollars. It was also one of the deadliest, with 161 lives lost… and one thousand injured.

This was very unfortunate and hopefully we can always improve our information sharing and precaution.  It was also categorized as an F-5 which is the highest rating for strenghth.
