It still remains a mystery…
There are some enormous blocks of stone in Baalbek, Lebanon that they still do not know how they were made. These things are absolutely gigantic. And it is puzzling to think that with the tools and technology in the region thousands of years ago that these would be possible. Who or what made these? There have been rumors around the web and in part of the scientific community that there was some sort of stone forming process instead of carving although that sounds far fetched.
The narrator mentions that many archaeologists think the Romans were responsible. However, he points out that he thinks the Romans built on top of these stones, but lacked the technology to make such blocks!
He also seems to think these stones pre date the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians, and were made by an unknown civilization.

When I was younger I moved a 1 ton stone by myself. It’s not that hard if you know how. Moving is easy. Lifting is the difficult part. Very difficult. But levers work wonders. Anything can be scaled up.

Some of these stones are close to 4000 tons. The best crane we have today cant lift that
Blocks like this and the Giza pyramids had to be quarried and moved with a starship. The enterprise could do it.
Moving a block over a ton would scrape it up noticeably.
No I had it on a cradle. 4 actually. Made the stone round. Was easy to roll then.
